Conference « RNA as an adaptor guiding molecular processes: origin, diversity and mechanisms »

14 Octobre 2016, Auditorium du Jardin Biopark (Paris 13ème)

This meeting is organized by Domenico LIBRI Eric WESTHOF, under the auspice of Aviesan, ITMO GGB – Genetics, genomics and bioinformatics – and BMSV Molecular and structural basis of life sciences – .

Guiding molecular events is one of the most important roles of the RNA molecule. From decoding of the genetic information by tRNAs, to choosing the right splicing junctions and to targeting modifications of rRNAs or specifically addressing machineries that alter the structure of chromatin or cleave RNA or DNA targets, complementary base pairing between segments belonging to the same or to different RNA molecules provides the required specificity and efficiency to guide and drive correctly these processes.

The goal of the symposium is to cover this broad area of investigation by presenting a diversified spectrum of molecular, genetic and cell biological approaches applied to a range of organisms. A poster session is scheduled to encourage discussion.
Please register (free of charge but mandatory) before 10th of October 2016, and submit your abstract before 27th September 2016.
